A second life for our laptops in Africa

Moore Stephens has been a supporter of the NGO South Cluster for many years.

South Cluster is an NGO that combats poverty and underdevelopment in Africa. One of the methods they employ is creating the greatest possible opportunities in the field of African education. The lack of access to IT is a major educational obstacle and South Cluster hopes to remedy the situation through its 40-2020-Africa project. By 2020 the charity aims to give over 40,000 discarded computers a second life by installing them in high schools in Africa. The computers will also be used to create a ‘virtual university’, giving African scholars the chance to polish their IT skills and preparing them for a university education.

Moore Stephens has donated its obsolete laptops to South Cluster since 2014, and we will continue to support this great project for Africa for years to come!
