Moore Stephens Belgium is driven by passion – passion for business as well as passion for personal growth and helping the less-advantaged.
It were these values that saw no less than 91 entrants from Moore Stephens setting off on Friday evening on 12 August 2016 for the Dodentocht (the Death March), an unprecedented turnout for this ultra-walk. Together they walked over 4,000 km in support of the Streetwize mobile school and collected over 10,000 euros for the wonderful project. And 23 of the entrants made it all the way to the finish line, 100 km away!
As a one-off show of support for Moore Stephens Belgium, Streetwize placed its mobile school on the sidelines of the Dodentocht, although under normal circumstances the mobile schools are used to teach homeless children. That’s an initiative that more than deserves our support.
What started off as a personal initiative on the part of our CEO, Peter Verschelden, is now a massive show of solidarity that saw all staff members of Moore Stephens join in, whether as a supporter, cheerleader on the sidelines, sponsor or walker.
