Paulien came to Moore Stephens as the result of a merger. As an Accountancy Officer she works in a team of five at the regional office in Etikhove. "This is an office with plenty of contacts with customers, but we also have regular interactions with the office in Oudenaarde. And we can always go to them with any queries."
The integration of the Etikhove office in the Moore Stephens organisation has opened up a wide range of training opportunities for Paulien. "Moore Stephens offer us all kinds of training options. I am able to attend courses at a central location in Drongen, and many of them count towards my qualification with the Institute of Accountants and Tax Consultants." As an account Paulien has to deal with a lot of deadlines, for example for VAT returns and the annual accounts.
Moving along is important. It's great to have clear objectives. You have your nose close to the grindstone in busy periods, but it helps that I live just a few kilometres from the office.
Paulien became a mother this year, and received as much support with this as with professional issues. "Everything was organised smoothly and very quickly. I really appreciate this approach. Of course everything has to be right for the client, but Moore Stephens also make sure that their people are properly cared for too."
